So after the absolutely lovely day I had at work yesterday I finally decided to get off my ass and mail out the first batch of demos. 20 are currently on their way to record labels, friends, and media sources worldwide. I'm terrified that I'm gonna be completely rejected by all and just as terrified that there will be interest in it and I'll have to start making some tough decisions over the next couple months.

We shall wait and see.

I am missing MUCH too much American Idol this season.
   

I left my apartment twice this weekend (once for a trip to Microcenter and once to grab some lunch with double k) and it was glorious. I can't remember the last time I've been this well-rested, yet still happy about the amount I'm getting done. This weekend I finished reading Middlesex, finally watched both In the Mood for Love and Ichi the Killer (thx again stakk), and readied ten demos for mailing later this week. I suppose I need to stay in more often.
