Ugh. Neo was too much fun last night. I ran into a ton of people from college I hadn't seen in years, fourth month was handing me the leftovers for all the shots she was poaring and I only heard one shitty EBM song the entire night.

I have no idea why this stupid blog won't change my nickname to "phixed." Ah well, at least the comments and colors are fixed.
Most memorable parts of NYE 2004.
1. Texting everybody in my phonebook "I'm raving! Happy New Year!"
2. Seeing 1000 ravers trying to sing along to "For Those About to Rock..." at midnight but never getting that delayed second part of the chorus right.
3. Watching "Heavy Metal Parking Lot" in the chill-out room with Autechre playing in the background.
4. Finding myself in the middle of a 50+ person mosh-pit during Doormouse's live set.
5. Getting sloppy drunk at 1am, sobering up, and then doing it all over again at 5 in the morning.

Went to Lava Lounge last night and was lovin' the dancehall they were playing there. They had this old guy that looked like George Clinton MCing which was hilarious, though that could have been the $2.50 Red Stripes I was drowning in. Best part of the evening: Seeing Shirley the brownie lady sell out in about five minutes flat.
